In the unlikely event a class or program is canceled, registrants will receive a full refund by check mailed within 7-10 business days (credit card transactions are returned to the same credit card account). Participant refund requests are subject to a $6 administrative fee and will be accepted up to 5 days prior to the class start. The $6 administrative fee may be waived if transferred to another class or credited to a registrant’s recreation account (to be used for any Kennewick Recreation program or class within the calendar year). Once the activity has started or after the established deadline, refund and transfer options are forfeited. FIELD/COURT REFUND POLICY FAIR SHARE FEE POLICY Participants who live outside of the city limits of Kennewick are encouraged to enroll in all programs, however pay a higher “non- resident” rate than “residents” since non-residents don’t pay property taxes that support City services. Kennewick School District, and Kennewick Fire Department are not the same as city limit boundaries. Even though a dwelling may have a Kennewick mailing address, its occupants may be considered nonresidents.
